Don't go where they know you (obviously) but beware of an electronic trail. Don't use a loyalty card or credit card and don't buy online. Having bought Aled Jones for my mum-in-law 2 years ago I still get spam for every Aled, choir boy or welsh choir CD ever released. Who wants that in their inbox?
