oh what a night…
The perfect tonic to a heinously busy month at work has been three days of training. Slow and interesting lessons on the new technology we’ll be using every day in the new building. Late starts, early finishes and just totally different from a normal work day.
Presents are all bought and wrapped. The few cards I’m sending are stamped and posted, and tonight I went to three parties.
First was leaving drinks for Badger, who’s going off on sabbatical for a year, then up to Maida Vale for very grown-up and glamourous Christmas drinks and finally to the Beggars Banquet party. The Party To End All Parties.
I LOVE 6 Music. I love what we do and I’m proud of what we do, but most of all I adore the people I work with. Tonight we danced. And How! We shook, we jumped, we laughed, we jiggled, we hugged, we sang along at the tops of our voices – and we took full advantage of the free bar.
