it’s been a few days.
another weekend of nothing but the sofa. It’s getting annoying to work all week and get sick at the weekends – but I do feel much better for my enforced house-arrest. I missed out on fireworks, a party, rugby, and cold and rain – so ups and downs!
Cath and I ventured as far as the cinema on Sunday afternoon for Elizabeth Town. Dissappointing. It’s a film with high hopes that’s trying to be something it couldn’t quite be. I think it wanted to be Garden State, and had some really fantastic moments, but it was FAR too long, and far too self indulgent. Jim James from my Morning Jacket did a great job with the music, and I’d like to see what made it onto the soundtrack.
Here comes another Tuesday. I hate Tuesdays.
i was SERIOUSLY disappointed. and patty griffin only had one line. that’s just bullshit right there.
my fave part was the video to shut the kids up. hehehee.
