Elbow

South West Trains meant we missed the first 15 minutes… but somwhow all but 1 of our favourite songs was in the part of the set we caught. I was really excited about the show ’cause I was taking cath, and Leaders Of The Freeworld is probably her album of the year. I’ve dragged her along to so many gigs against her will over the years (”but I can’t go on my own…”) that I always love it when I can take her to something I know she really wants to see.
Brixton’s such a great venue… with the sloping floor you can see from pretty much wherever you are, and take in the crowd at the same time. Brixton crowds are appreciative. And we sing. Loudly.

After I got to catch up with Abi, which always makes a night good. Why is it that there are so many people I like so much, and yet never really see. Note to self; call people.

Tell me they did Ribcage. Oh, I love me some Elbow. Turning green in Franklin, with this news.
Great pictures! I saw them at Manchester Apollo a few days ago. Dead good…. a really lovely set of songs too.
