A little rash?

I think I may have acted rashly. I’ve just promised to run the London Marathon next year.
When I was 12 I was pretty good at Cross Country. I represented my school at county level and really loved it.
It was at this point I said that one day, when I was old enough, I’d run the marathon.
2 years ago my sister did it. She trained really hard and got a pretty good time of 4:45:59 (I think). She could have done better, but chose to run with her training partner (who was a little slower than her) than go off on her own for a faster time.
this morning, as I was watching all those brilliant people on telly, I decided it was about time I put my money where my mouth is. I want to get fit anyway, and it would be a good thing to aim for. Also fulfilling one of my childhood ambitions.
Cath has said she’ll do it with me, and help me train. I’m not sure what charity I’ll run for… Christian Aid? Water Aid (for Donna)? Research in to Behcet’s, that my sister-in-law has just been diagnosed with? We’ll see.
Anyone else like to join?
